Come join the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's on September 9, 2017 at Wintersmith Park. Alzheimer's is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States, and of the top ten causes of death, is the only one with no cure, no treatment and no known cause. Please help us put an end to Alzheimer's! Our course starts at the new bandstand on the east side of the park (at the corner of east 21st and Wintersmith) and we do one lap around Wintersmith Park. A shorter course across the bridge is available for those who need it. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and the opening ceremony begins at 9 a.m. To start a team, volunteer or if you have questions, please contact Paula Huckabaa at (580) 656-7059.
