December 30, 2016 Ada Fire Department to host Regional Fire School ADA – More than 300 firefighters from across the state will attend a two-day fire school in January. On January 7 and 8, 2017, the Ada Fire Department in conjunction with Oklahoma State University Fire Service Training will host twelve training classes at the Pontotoc Technology Center. Classes range from pump operations, advance fire behavior, grain bin emergencies, wildland fundamentals, traffic incident management, and safety and leadership training. “It’s a great opportunity to bring firefighters in from other cities in our state and learn different techniques from each other,” said Joe Allen, Deputy Fire Chief.
