The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Airport Grounds Maintenance Worker Performs a variety of duties to efficiently help the airport maintain its airside and landside pavement areas, grounds, and facilities in the highest state of cleanliness, maintenance, appearance, and safety, for use by aircraft and the public. Operates light equipment such as riding lawn mowers, weed eaters, side-by-side all-terrain vehicle in support of grounds maintenance at the airport. Performs a variety of general building and facility maintenance duties to efficiently operate airport facilities and maintain them in proper repair, clean and safe for public use. Prefer experience with light equipment such as riding lawn mower, wee eaters, and other similar equipment. While performing the essential functions of this position the employee is frequently exposed to various outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, and dust.?

The individual selected will assist in the coordination of the operations and activities of the municipal court including the preparation and coordination of daily and monthly court dockets; to assist the public with traffic tickets, court dates, and fines; to perform a wide variety of responsible administrative secretarial duties for the assigned department; to coordinate and participate in office support functions in support of the assigned department?s goals and objectives; to provide assistance to the community services department; and to provide information and assistance to the public regarding departmental policies and procedures. Two years of increasingly responsible administrative secretarial experience and/or Municipal court system experience. Knowledgeable of operations, services, and activities of municipal court, policies and procedures, of municipal court, state rules and laws related to municipal court operations. Basic letter writing and basic report preparation. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Municipal Court Clerk certification.

I, II, or III. The grants administrator performs professional and technical
work for the development and administration of externally funded grants,
contracts, sponsorships and related revenue opportunities to support the
districts priorities, mission and values. The grants administrator is also
responsible for budgeting of grant projects and ensuring compliance with state
and federal requirements. ?
A
Bachelor's degree with major course work in grant writing and/or
administration, business, public or non-profit administration, planning, urban
studies, geography, architecture, landscape architecture, park and recreation
planning, park and recreation management, or a related field. ?Certificate
or other training in grant writing and/or administration and a minimum of five
(5) years increasingly responsible experience in grant development, management
and administration. Preference for experience in park and recreation or other
government agency.

The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position Parks Maintenance Worker I or Parks Maintenance Worker II. ?
WORKER I: This position performs skilled and semi-skilled labor in the construction, maintenance and related service activities for the city's parks, athletic fields and rights-of-way; to perform a variety of ground maintenance services including mowing, irrigation, turf and equipment renovation; and to perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. This is the entry level class in the Parks Maintenance Worker series.
This class is distinguished from the Parks Maintenance Worker II by the performance of the more basic range of duties assigned including performing general parks maintenance duties consisting of mowing, trimming, herbicide application and park maintenance construction duties. Employees at this level receive more frequent instruction or assistance and are not expected to be fully trained upon hire.
WORKER II: This is the journey level class in the Parks Maintenance Worker series. Positions at this level are distinguished from other classes within the series by the level of responsibility assumed and the complexity of duties assigned. Employees perform the most difficult and responsible types of duties assigned to classes within this series including conducting the most complex parks maintenance duties including operating the equipment and conducting playground equipment inspections. Employees at this level are required to be fully trained in all procedures related to assigned area of responsibility. CDL, and Certified Applicator License preferred.
