The City of Ada is accepting applications until filled for Full-Time Communications Dispatcher.  Individuals selected will be responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for the 911 emergency dispatch center for the City of Ada and Pontotoc County fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. Individuals selected must be able to pass pre-employment tests for job compatibility assessment tools, and be able to multi-task with telephone, radio, and computer.  Successful applicants must be able to make quick decisions and provide quality customer service and communication, both orally and in writing, and must be able to work day, evening, or midnight shifts.  Preference will be given to certified dispatcher applicants. The City of Ada is accepting applications for the positions of Line Maintenance Worker I or II, Depending on Qualifications, and Line Maintenance Temporary Worker until filled.  Individual selected must be able to perform semi-skilled and skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and construction of water and sewer lines and other general maintenance work. Selected individual must also have possession of or ability to obtain a valid Oklahoma Class A Commercial Driver’s License and a Department of Environmental Quality Class “D” Water and Wastewater certification within one year.  Medical examination, along with drug screen will be administered upon offer of employment.  Apply to Human Resources Director, 231 S.
