The City of Ada is accepting applications for part-time Communications Dispatchers. Individuals selected will be responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for the 911 emergency dispatch center for City of Ada and Pontotoc County fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. Individuals selected must be able to multi-task with telephone, radio, and computer and must be able to work day, evening, or midnight shifts with a minimum of 24 hours per week. The City of Ada is accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Industrial Mechanic. This position has responsibility to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all vehicles, other rolling stock, and non-rolling equipment in the city's fleet; maintain records of repairs performed; oversee contract engine repair work; and assist with complex and difficult repairs on equipment in the city's fleet.
