This position is responsible to oversee and coordinate the activities and operations of the municipal airport within the Public Works division, to implement program goals and objectives, and to perform a variety of administrative and technical tasks in support of the assigned area of responsibility. Individual selected should have basic knowledge of airport operation requirements and procedures. In addition, individual should have three years of increasingly responsible facility management experience, including one year of administrative responsibility, and education equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in airport management, business administration, or a related field. The City of Ada is accepting applications for part-time Communications Dispatchers. Individuals selected will be responsible for providing emergency and non-emergency dispatch services for the 911 emergency dispatch center for City of Ada and Pontotoc County fire, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. This position will serve as the division head for the Public Safety Division and will be responsible for the administration of the city’s public and employee safety programs, and the 911 Communications and Emergency Management Departments.
