Penny for our City

On August 24, 2010, voters approved a one-cent sales tax extension for five years. The penny tax is earmarked for capital improvement projects in these areas: fire station, police/911 station, sports complex, main water line engineering study, downtown beautification, and city building renovations.

The Ada City Council has established Citizens Committees for each of the projects, and these committees will meet on a regular basis to discuss how the projects will move forward. All meetings are open to the public.
