The City of Ada is approximately 18.22 square miles and Pontotoc County is approximately 725 square miles. Sales Tax Rate

The City has a sales tax rate of 4%. In addition, the state levies a 4.5% tax rate on sales. Pontotoc County currently levies a 0.6875% sales tax rate.

Educational Opportunities

Ada Public Schools has six primary and secondary schools. There are also two public school systems just outside of city limits, Byng and Latta. Also, East Central University and Pontotoc Technology Center are located in Ada.
