Ada City Council

The Ada City Council is composed of five members, each serving a two-year term: a council member "at-large" and one council member from each of the City's four wards. Council members elect a mayor and a vice-mayor each year at the first meeting in May.

Council members for the year 2010-2011 are Dick Scalf, Darrell Nemecek, Roger Cupps, Matt Layton, and Shane Sweeney.

Council meetings are scheduled for the first and third Mondays of each month. The council meets at Ada City Hall, located at 231 S. Townsend, at 5:45 p.m. (except on holidays). Meetings are televised live on cable Channel 6 and are Closed Captioned.

To request an item on an agenda, a completed Agenda Item Request Form must be submitted to the City Manager's office no later than noon on the MONDAY preceding the council meeting at which the item is to be heard. For more information, call (580) 436-8002.
